We offer a fairly comprehensive list of suspension services, from basic fork and shock rebuilds up through custom valving and upgrades. Fork oil change menu is for oil-lubricated forks only (Rockshox, Fox, Manitou, DVO, Ohlins, MRP). Suntour, RST or other plastic-sleeve or grease lubricated value-line forks and shocks are excluded from these menu items, and rebuilds or repairs of those items will be done by time and materials methods. In many cases, replacement of these value-line components is cheaper than rebuilding them, if parts can be found for them at all.

For services not listed here (such as revalves, installation of damper upgrades, etc.) these will be done on an hourly-charge basis plus parts and materials.

Basic fork oil change

Lubricants and parts are not included.

  • Remove fork lowers & clean internally, inspect bushings & stanchions for wear
  • Remove & clean foam rings, inspect rings and stanchion seals
  • Reassemble fork with greased seals and fresh oil on foam rings
  • Fill fork lowers with specified oil

Fork oil change with seals

Does not include service of damper or spring, only stanchion sliders. Lubricants and parts are not included.

Complete fork rebuild

Price varies with type of fork, so a range is listed here. Lubricants and parts not included.

  • Remove fork lowers & clean internally, inspect bushings & stanchions for wear
  • Replace foam rings and stanchion seals
  • Rebuild spring side of fork with new seals & parts from factory kit
  • Rebuild damper side of fork with new seals, oil, and parts from factory kit, bleed damper as required.
  • Reassemble fork with greased seals and fresh oil on foam rings
  • Fill fork lowers with specified oil

Shock air can service*

Lubricants and parts not included.
* Excludes Fox Float X2 shocks, where air can seal kits are not available separately. X2's are full-rebuild only.

  • Remove shock, disassemble and inspect air can components
  • Replace seals in air can with factory kit
  • Reassemble air can with appropriate lubricant, set pressure, and reinstall

Shock rebuild

Shock rebuilds will be completed on an hourly basis, typical full rebuilds on a non-damaged shock run 1.5-2.5 hours, depending on the shock. Lubricants and parts not included.

  • Disassemble damper, clean and inspect internals
  • Rebuild adjusters as needed aligned with factory service manuals
  • Replace internal seals and refill with oil (vacuum fill available for suitable dampers)
  • Recharge IFP (with Nitrogen if applicable)

Shock Dyno Services (add on)

Shocks can be run on the in-house CTW shock dyno as an add-on service, for diagnosis or custom tuning. Price listed below is for an add-on service for shock rebuilds. Any requested tuning changes will be charged separately.
